We encourage both companies and people like yourself to let us know what you think about our site as well as letting us know about any services that do not appear on our site. Excellent in principle. But why exclude Mauritius from your scope ?
It's a Commonwealth country with many Mauritians in UK !!

Sorry if this isn't the place for this comment, but I'm looking for information on sending money from South Africa to Canada, and while your website had more information than any other i looked at, I am still unclear as to whether or not it is possible to send a fairly large sum of money from South Africa to Canada.. where would I find this information?

We don't cover South Africa to Canada yet but generally the easiest way (not necassarily the cheapest of quickest) is to send from a bank account you hold to a nominated bank account in Canada, whether yours or someone else's.

However, the are foreign exchange companies that transfer larger amounts of money which is often a lot cheaper. One I found was www.fxafrica.com. You can visit their website or they can be contacted by using the following details:

Dear Send Money Home office,

We have completed the Money Transfer provider questionaire recently for sending money from Australia and New Zealand to PHP, WST,BRL,CNY and USD. However, we cannot see any of our listings and we are unable to select the country "from Australia or New Zealand". Please advise because we believe you have a great site and we love to help people to send money home overseas.

Your site is comprehensive and we think that as we offer diverse remittance services we should be included on your web site.

We have tried to email you last week but the emails have been returned, so that's why we left a comment here and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Please visit www.technocash.com for more information.

Thanks for your help.

Kind Regards,
Florence

Good morning,

I would like to register a very horrible service from Chequepoint. Unfortunatelly this is not the type of service we expect from a money transfer company.

I first went to Chequepoint Oxford Branch to send 400 pounds to New Zeland Friday, 7th of March, where it was told me the money would be in my brother's bank account on the following monday. I filled all the information and requested the transfer.

Obviously I knew that could be too quick, but I trusted on the information. I called Monday 10th March to double check, when it was told me there wasn't any problem with my money transfer and I could expect the money at any time soon.

It was only Friday, 14th March, when someone called me to let me know there was a problem with my transfer, even though I had called before to double check that. They said it was missing the branch code.

This would not be a problem at all, but why that was not asked when I first sent the money through the brach? And worst, why that was not also asked me when I first called to double check if there was any problem with my transfer on Monday, 10th March?

Unfortunatelly they called me asking to give the branch code on Friday, 7th March, late afternoon and the lady that was helping me could only get the details in the following Monday, 17th March. That was what I did, with the promise the money would be in my brother's bank account in 3 to 5 working days.

Yesterday, thursday 27th March, my brother still didn't received anything. I called to check what was the problem and it was told me the money was only processed March 21st. Why? In a holiday? That was not what was told me in the first place.

My brother has not received the money yet.
